First off, I am not surprised at the move. Last month I was surprised by a call from the OLPC leadership looking for contacts at Intel they could talk with about ending the public feud between Nicholas Negroponte and Craig Barrett. I was asked to keep the call quiet, and I did, for I think overall, the very over-hyped squabble was distracting for everyone involved with low-cost computing for the developing world.

Minimum System Requirements

The following are requirements for installing and using the Intel Laptop Gaming TDK (as tested). Other configurations may also work, but have not been verified.

Hardware:

* Intel® Core™ Duo Pprocessor or faster recommended.
* Minimum 512 MB Random Access Memory (RAM).
* Minimum 128 MB Video RAM, using AGP 4x or PCI Express* Bus.
* 802.11 a/b/g Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) or Fast Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN) connection.

It's no dumb blonde, either, packed with Intel's speediest and most efficient components, which will probably be plenty fast by the time this machine is manufactured, maybe even as soon as the end of this year.
